Analysis of Bigfoot Claims

This report details several encounters and claims involving an individual regarding alleged Bigfoot activity.

The "Kidnapping" Claim

This guy first came to my attention through the "Muddy Creek Podcast," hosted by Victoria Jackson, which I highly recommend. On this podcast, he claims a Bigfoot kidnapped a friend of his while they were together on a property. He asserts that a police report was filed and an investigation conducted. According to him, law enforcement found no trace of the friend during their search. However, he claims he later returned to the area and found his friend's ballcap. No official record of this alleged investigation or case has been found.

Salt Fork State Park Incident

Additionally, a highly trusted friend recounted an incident at a Salt Fork State Park campout. A young woman reportedly heard something in the woods. Him and another individual approached the woods—a public wildlife area and part of the Buckeye Trail—with guns drawn in the dark of night. (As a personal note, if one is so fearful of the woods that a firearm is necessary, it might be advisable to avoid such areas, especially when camping near others.)

Woodbury Wildlife Area Vocalization Claim

A separate incident involves my friend, Hannah Slate. While at the Woodbury Wildlife Area with another friend, Shane, Hannah made a Bigfoot vocalization. Afterward, He contacted her, claiming her call "upset a Bigfoot enough to kill a farmer's bull." He further asserted that local law enforcement was "kicking people out of the area" and that he had been "called in to assess the situation." Investigations confirm that claims of local law enforcement restricting access and His requested presence are false. The text he sent to Hannah regarding this claim is included below. Again, no law enforcement or ODNR reports can be found, This would fall under jurisdiction of the ODNR as it would be considered a wildlife/livestock kill.

Screenshot of a text message conversation discussing a no-go zone where calls caused a bigfoot to kill a bull, and mentioning that sheriff deputies are making people leave the area after bigfoot sightings.
