Bigfoot Kentucky Sighting Prediction

Bigfoot Kentucky Sighting Prediction

Applying the Model to the Bluegrass State

Why Kentucky? The rugged, ancient mountains and vast, dense forests of Kentucky make it a prime candidate for our predictive analysis. With the massive Daniel Boone National Forest covering its eastern third, the state possesses the ideal habitat profile for a large, reclusive primate.

How it works: The Bigfoot Ohio Sighting Predictor (B.O.S.P.) was fed decades of credible sighting reports from across Kentucky. The system's machine learning algorithm then analyzed the environmental DNA of each location, focusing on key variables for the region:

  • Topography: The steep hollows, narrow ridges, and cave systems of the Cumberland Plateau.
  • Habitat: Density of the Appalachian mixed mesophytic forests, which are among the most diverse temperate forests in the world.
  • Resources: Proximity to the thousands of miles of streams and rivers, including the Cumberland, Kentucky, and Big Sandy rivers.
  • Human Factor: Distance from coal mining operations and rural settlements, focusing on the most isolated and undeveloped tracts of land.

The model finds the environmental signature of high-activity areas. The charts and locations on this page are the direct result of that analysis. 🏞️
